Is it just me who didn’t like their cakes?
*scratches head*
Post World Cyber Games Philippines 2008 and dinner at the Tokyo Cafe, the boys and I decided to take our nonstop blabbing to a coffee shop. Tired with the usual Starbucks and CBTL that’s readily available the moment we step out of our respective workplaces, we decided to give Chocolat Cakes a try. After all, it’s quite popular in Girltalk and very much raved about both online and off line.

Post lunch, on our way to Mall of Asia last Saturday:
Me: How many times’ve you had White Hat yogurt?
Him: Four? Four.
Me: WHAT?!? FOUR?!?
Him: Yah. Everytime I’m in MoA I get 2 cups.
Me: Daya (unfair). You never took me to White Hat. (pouts)
Him: But we’re already on our way to White Hat!
Donned in a mini dress (aka. wedding guest ensemble), 4 inch stilettos, and gunmetal & teal eyeshadow, I found myself grinning like a lost little girl in a candy shop yogurt parlor when I was handed this:

Large White Hat Yogurt with Muesli

…and Ube (was it jelly?) and Sesame Mochi!

Dear (insert your name here),
At six months old, I honestly did not expect that you will check back for fresh entries once in a while nor will I leave my law school stint and shift to chef school so soon. All I had in mind when I opened this blog is that I need to cook again, cure my dry hands, and take photos on the side.
Loaded with just sheer boredom, hundred and one percent passion, and zero expectations, just imagine how I felt the first time I got an incoming link from Influential Blogger.
I was beyond words happy to discover that I am not just talking and showing food shots to myself.
Weeks rolled and together with the earlier mentioned blog, I got link backs from both online and off line friends sharing their votes and rationales with Pass The Sauce (naturally) included. Comments both about my passion for food (and cooking) and photography seriously feels like a big warm hug on a bad rainy day.
Sans drama and tears, thank you so much for this wonderful and early birthday surprise. If you’ve got spare time, do visit the other blogs voted by readers like you.
Yumyumyumyum,
Phoebe
ps. Fresh entries will be posted midweek. I need to rest after a string of events and weddings!

Ooooh a tutorial! It’s been a while since I made a “tut” and I hope that I’ll fare just as fine here in PassTheSauce like how I did in my make-up blog.
Step 0. Wait…

wait…wait…

and wait some more for your dinner mates.
