Being the usually lucky girl that I am, I was invited (thank you, Alexei) last Wednesday night to have dinner with a handful of bloggers and photography enthusiasts in this warm place enclosed in Yellow stucco walls called Mi Piace.

As a (sort of) beauty blogger, I can easily give you a quick list of products to try to smoothen and soothe your dry, itchy hands.
As a frustrated chef, I can definitely tell that my flaking hands will not respond to even the richest hand cream I have on my boudoir. From the looks of it, I think they are dying to be soaked in extra virgin olive oil while my cuticles need a generous swiping of almond oil.
So this is me, (finally) going back to work in the kitchen, trying to prettify myself the best way I know and seeking nirvana at the same time.
